Major institutions like Lincoln Center, NJPAC, Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, and 92NY are launching phenomenal new seasons. At the same time, clubs continue to showcase electrifying performances while NYC Summerstage and JazzMobile keep Marcus Garvey Park alive with rhythm.

One standout is Christian McBride's big band, whose new Swing (we dubbed "New Jack Swing") evokes the golden days of the Swing Era. It makes one ponder what those historic clubs were like.
