In a time when we all need healing spaces to gather more than ever, Room 623 continues to offer an inclusive venue for artists of all backgrounds to create and perform and for audiences from around the world and around the corner to come and celebrate both our collective diversity and our common ground through live Jazz.  

When you come to a show at Room 623, become a member or catch a livestream, you are not only supporting this mission…You are also helping us revitalize and reenergize an important tradition and history that gave birth to bebop, launched the careers of hundreds of iconic artists and helped introduced Jazz to rest of the world.  With your ongoing help, we continue to celebrate this black American music and all that it has inspired every time we open our doors.  

The legacy of Jazz in Harlem is sacred, powerful and fragile.

Originally purchased as a private event space by renowned Harlem restaurateur, Adriane Ferguson, Room 623 has now been converted into an exciting and intimate Jazz club by Jazz vocalist, songwriter, host & emcee, Marcus Goldhaber.  Featuring an inclusive and immersive setting to celebrate Jazz history, Room 623 is Harlem’s new home for live Jazz!
