Blackout Tuesday

Hot House Jazz Guide Announcement:

I moved to the States over 20 years ago, following my “teenager’s dream.” America was my dream, but what's happening in my adoptive country breaks my heart.     For two decades, I have hugged so many of you, jazz artists, and found a true family in the jazz community. You make me upbeat, emotional, you move me, you give your heart and soul from the bandstand and for that I’m so grateful.     But today, and for so many years, you, my/our beloved African Americans musicians, are hurting, and today, in observance of Blackout Tuesday and in solidarity with many colleagues, our office is closed.     I want to take this opportunity to reflect and stand against racism, bigotry and violence. I’m hoping that together we can spread awareness, open people’s heart and suggest solutions to our politicians for a better future.     America can be that teenager’s dream!

IN LOVE I TRUST
