Six-time GRAMMY-nominated pianist and composer Gerald Clayton presents his multidisciplinary project, Piedmont Blues: A Search for Salvation. With a combination of music, dance, film, and photographs, Clayton pays homage to the rich cultural history of the Piedmont region and its signature music style. He’ll be joined on stage by GRAMMY-nominated singer René Marie, saxophonists Immanuel Wilkins, Danya Stephens, and John Ellis,  drummer Kendrick Scott, guitarist Marvin Sewell, bassist Tyrone Allen, and tap dancer Maurice Chestnut.This 2-night concert event (Thursday, May 19 & Friday, May 20) is directed by Christopher McElroen and produced by The American Vicarious.
